Ad blockers often block images whose filenames start with "ads". This means filenames like ads1.png, ads1.jpg, or ads1.gif are more likely to be blocked in browsers like Firefox and Chrome. Recently, Adblock Plus also became available for Internet Explorer.

To work around this, rename your image files by replacing the "ads" prefix with something else — for example, use "imgs" or "banner". Ad blockers will not match on these names, and your images will display correctly. This is a simple way to prevent your banners from being hidden on your website.
