Quora: A Better Alternative to Traditional Social Networks
After writing my recent post, Facebook Allows Abuse in Non-English Languages?, I started looking for a better social networking platform. I have found that Facebook is little more than a waste of time these days—mostly filled with marketing links and generic posts. Twitter isn't very useful either, since it is difficult to say anything meaningful in under 140 characters.
Then there is Quora, which is a much better platform compared to the other two. It hosts a lot of high-quality discussions on a wide variety of topics that are actually worth reading.
I am really enjoying my time on Quora. I no longer feel the need to use Facebook or Twitter, both of which feel like they are declining in value.
